Dear Friends and Family,

To begin with, I would like to thank all of you who are praying for me, it has carried me through the many challenges that I face in front of so much need. I continue to see His hand at work through and around me.

Today, I want to share with you some pictures and a story of one of the nutrition centers that I am currently working with. The "Genesis" nutrition center started 2 years ago when our program first started. The Coordinator, Analia, is a school teacher that has a heart ready to reach out to her impoverished community, and has been working with us to feed over 50 impoverished children that live in the squatter zone next door to the church, where her husband Pastors.

This morning I went over to meet with Analia at the soup kitchen. We are planning a community outreach for this upcoming Sunday in a park near the nutrition center. While there, I saw the physical needs of the families , and they were overwhelming urgent. Children naked outside, dirty, and hungry. Families that live under pieces of plastic. Not only was the smell of the sewage nauseating around their homes, but quickly I could see the issues of lice and skin rashes that the children have. My heart went out to them, for these are the people that God has brought me to Paraguay to serve.

Today, through the Genesis Nutrition center, we are reaching some of these urgent needs that will make a life change for these children. What started as a feeding station, has now turned into a a morning kindergarten for the younger children, at noon a good meal is served and the kids also get to enjoy a spiritual devotional time with many songs and bible memorization, and in the afternoons there are after-school classes for the older children that are falling behind in the public schools. What a tremendous outreach!

I would like to ask for special prayer and support as we will be inviting many of the children's parents and families to the community park, where we will have the chance to share the love of Christ with them. Although there are many physical needs that still need to be met, without Jesus Christ making an inward change in their hearts and breaking through many of the addictions that these broken homes have, there can be no lasting change. Please pray with me as we share His love in this community this coming Sunday.

Once again, thank you for keeping me close at heart and remembering me in prayer and through your financial support.

Take care,

Judah Mooney
